Bade Çayır is a self-taught ceramic artist and illustrator from Istanbul, Turkey. She uses clay as her primary medium to tell stories. She finds her inspiration from the creation process itself, childhood memories and cities. All pieces, both wheel-thrown and hand-built, are made in her studio Atölye Müstakil where she also teach hand building ceramics. ​

 

Beautiful Afternoon Ceramics was started in 2017 and continues to grow a loyal community of customers. Her collections Pocket Universe and Personal Mythologies are consist of pieces that born from the journey of rediscovering the artist's childhood creativity, inspiring every person who owns it to create their own universe.
